Much like his name, Cashmere (Cash) King has always felt like he was raised in two worlds. King is a Newark, New Jersey native whose family has lived in the state’s largest city for more than 60 years. He is a product of Brick City where he was educated in its diverse community, its public schools and its streets. The same ones he’s worked in over the years for the City and in schools throughout Essex County to the businesses he owns today.
